Mantova, 16th November 2020 - On the day of Tazio Nuvolari's 128th birthday and 60 days after the closing of the Gran Premio Nuvolari 2020, it is time to draw up a summary of an edition that has been "exceptional" in many ways.

First of all because it was the 30th edition of the event in honor of the "Great Tazio", the second event in the world in historical regularity after the 1000 Miglia: a great milestone for Mantova Corse and for the city of Mantova.

Secondly, because in times marked by the Covid-19 pandemic, it has allowed participants and enthusiasts to experience an extraordinary Italian weekend in the name of automotive passion and touristic enjoyment.

From an organizational point of view, the management of this event has been challenging: the primary goal was to keep everyone and everything in maximum safety. The enthusiastic participants, respectful of the provisions of the protocols, and the public, warm but disciplined, however, definitely rewarded the commitment.

For the organizers it was more important than ever in this thirtieth edition to be supported by their prestigious partners: Red Bull, TAG Heuer, Finservice and Jaguar Autocenter. The collaboration with an expert and passionate staff, together with local, regional and national public bodies, and the police, also have been fundamental for the positive outcome of the event, in the uncertain sanitary climate we all know.

Roberto and Andrea Vesco, father and son competing with the number 19, triumphed in this 2020 edition: after driving more than 1000 km across half of Italy, on board a beautiful 1929 Alfa Romeo 6C 1750 SS Zagato, they won the prestigious silver cup. For Vesco, winning the race is nothing new (he won seven times). However, the 2020 victory has been the first one next to his father Roberto.

And now, eyes on the future, on the 2021 edition: Mantova Corse is organizing an unmissable event for all enthusiasts. The 31st GP Nuvolari will be held from 16th to 19th September 2021.
