C.S. 1 - March 1st marks the opening of registrations for the international regularity event dedicated to "the Great Tazio".

03/01/2025

Mantova, March 1st 2025 - Registrations are now open for the 35th edition of the Gran Premio Nuvolari, the  international regularity event for historic cars, scheduled from September 18th to 21st, 2025. Competitors will face  off on a route marked by 100 timed tests and average speed trials. They will travel some of the most enchanting  roads in Italy, passing through historic squares and breathtaking landscapes. For 35 years, the goal has remained  the same: to create an exclusive event for drivers and enthusiasts, worthy of a figure who made history in global  motorsport: the great Tazio Nuvolari.

From September 18th to 21st, 2025, 300 teams from around the world will take on a route divided into three stages,  covering a total of 1,100 kilometers, traversing the most beautiful landscapes of Lombardy, Emilia-Romagna,  Tuscany, Umbria, Marche, and the Republic of San Marino.

The event, conceived and organized since 1991 by Mantova Corse, will take place in compliance with FIA, FIVA, and  ACI Sport regulations, with particular attention to the safety protocols of the national sports federation.

Partners Red Bull and the Finservice Group have confirmed their participation, along with newcomer Morbio Costruzioni, who will help offer competitors an adrenaline-fueled and exclusive experience. The aim is to combine  the joy of driving through unique places with top-level sporting competition.

The 2025 Route

The Gran Premio Nuvolari route represents the essence of many Italian excellences.

On Friday, September 19, as per tradition, the 300 teams will start from the historic Piazza Sordello, in the heart of  the Lombard city. They will pass through the plains of the Po Valley before reaching the Modena racetrack. The  route will then continue over the hills of Emilia-Romagna towards the Adriatic Sea, with a city circuit in Forlì and an  arrival in Cesenatico, where the first special evening will be held at the Grand Hotel da Vinci. An overnight stay in  Rimini will follow.

On Saturday, September 20, the second stage will take competitors from Rimini towards Tuscany, Umbria, and  Marche. The route will pass through Sant'Angelo in Vado, Sansepolcro, Monte San Savino, Piazza del Campo in  Siena, and a break at Borgo Scopeto among the tall and upright cypress trees of the Sienese hills. In the afternoon,  teams will drive through the Chianti region, followed by trials in Pieve Santo Stefano, and heading toward the  Viamaggio pass. The Republic of San Marino will host the final timed trials of the day, with a stamp control at Piazza  della Libertà at the peak of Monte Titano. The second stage will conclude in Rimini, first with a parade in Piazza Tre  Martiri and then at Parco Fellini where the cars will rest for the night. In the evening, the traditional Gala Dinner in  honor of Tazio Nuvolari will be held at the splendid Fellini-themed Grand Hotel Rimini.

On Sunday, September 21, the crews will head North. The route will feature the final, decisive challenges that will  determine the overall winner. Starting from Rimini, they will face the dreaded timed trials in Meldola, then pass  through Faenza, guests of the Formula 1 team "Racing Bulls", and continue to Lugo di Romagna, where they will race  on the brand new city circuit. The final timed trials will take place in the oval of Piazza Ariostea, and the Estense  Castle will host the time control that the City of Ferrara will set up for the competitors. It will then be the time to  return to the land of Mantua, passing through the stamp controls of Poggio Rusco, San Giacomo delle Segnate, and  Bondanello. The lunch, set in the magnificent Abbey of Polirone in San Benedetto Po, will be the final act before the  triumphant arrival in Mantua, between the welcoming walls of Piazza Sordello.
