It is an international regularity event for historic cars according to F.I.A., F.I.V.A. and ACI Sport regulations, scheduled for September 2019, from 19th to 22nd. The formula of the event, organized since the beginning of 1991 by the Scuderia Mantova Corse, will give participants the opportunity to experience the event dedicated to the "Flying Mantuan": time trials played out to the hundredth of a second, medium trials, high level tourism, breath-taking landscapes, and the warm embrace of the thousands of fans gathered in the most famous and historic Italian squares.
With the already confirmed presence of Eberhard & Co. and Red Bull as Official Partners, it will be one of the most awaited events of the season. The world of classic cars enthusiasts will converge to Mantova to celebrate the figure of Tazio Nuvolari: the sportsman that, more than anyone else, has marked the history of the XX century.

The route of 2018
The 2019 edition will start after the sport and technical checks, at 11 a.m. on Friday, September 20th from Piazza Sordello, on the background of Palazzo Ducale.
The route, studied with great care to identify the most spectacular and fascinating itineraries of the northern central peninsula, proposes the return to the historical formula, which characterized the first editions of the Gran Premio Nuvolari in the 90s: the passage from Lake Garda.

The event will open with the first timed trials on the moraine hills of Mantua. Then, competitors will follow the Garda route, to arrive to the Golf Club of Marciaga for the lunch break, among beautiful olive trees. Later, they will cross the Adige valley and the roads of Emilia, finally arriving in Bologna. “Fico”, the world largest food park that embodies the wonders of Italian biodiversity and culinary tradition, is the innovative and prestigious location that will host the inaugural dinner. Then, participants will stay overnight in the best hotels in the Emilian city.

Saturday 21st of September, the second stage, will be the most intense day of the Gran Premio Nuvolari: after the departure from Bologna, competitors will drive along the State Road 65, with the passage from the famous Appenine passes of the Raticosa and Futa. Then, they will follow through the Florentine countryside and the Chianti hills, finally arriving in Siena for the usual embrace with the classic cars enthusiasts in Piazza del Campo, one of the most emblematic places in Italy. After the break under the cypress trees of Borgo Scopeto, the caravan will continue to Piazza Grande, in the heart of Arezzo. In the late afternoon, the crews will drive along the Marecchiese Street, reaching the finish line in Piazza Tre Martiri in Rimini. The Gala Dinner in honor of Tazio Nuvolari will be held as usual in the unique setting of the Grand Hotel of Rimini.

On Sunday morning, the 22nd of September, the crews will head back to Mantua, after the last challenges, the decisive ones to decree the winner.
Starting from Rimini, and passing through Meldola, Lugo and Faenza, as Scuderia Toro Rosso’s guests, the race will proceed with a “classic” step: the trials in Ferrara, at Circuito Ariosteo, among Ferrarese enthusiasts.
Lastly, after 1000 exciting kilometres traveled on board of challenging historical masterpieces, competitors will cross Borgofranco and Ostiglia, and will arrive in Piazza Sordello, at the heart of Mantova, in time for lunch, greeted by the enthusiast public.
