MANTUA, March 1st, 2017 - The registrations for the the 27th modern edition of the Gran Premio Nuvolari open today, an international regularity event for historic cars according to FIA, FIVA and ACI Sport regulations, scheduled from 14th to 17th September. The formula of the event, organized by Scuderia Mantova Corse in collaboration with the Automobile Club Mantova and Tazio Nuvolari Museum, will give participants the opportunity to experience the unique emotion of the event dedicated to the "Flying Mantuan": time trials to the hundredth of a second , high level tourism, breathtaking landscapes and roads beside the embrace of thousands of fans in the most beautiful and historic squares in Italy.

The route 2017
The 2017 edition will start after the sport and technical checks, at 11 AM on Friday, September 15th from Piazza Sordello on the background of Palazzo Ducale. The crews will face the first kilometers out of the total 1050, coming to the first chrono challenge on the Te circuit, always in Mantua, and then in “Autodromo di Modena”. In the afternoon, after the break at Villa Verganti, Formigine, you will see the cars involved along the Apennines of Emilia Romagna roads and in the descent towards the Adriatic, with the transit in Forlì and Cesena, before arriving in Cesenatico which will host the evening in the prestigious location of the Grand Hotel Leonardo da Vinci. Overnight on the Riviera, in the hospitable hotel in Rimini.

Saturday 16th, the second stage, will be the most intense day of the Gran Premio Nuvolari: after the departure from Rimini, the competitors will immediately stop the Autodromo Marco Simoncelli Misano Adriatico, where they will face the first chrono trials. They will transit through the historic towns of Urbino, Città di Castello and Arezzo, then they will meet fans in Piazza del Campo, Siena, one of the most celebrated places in Italy. It will be a journey full of charm, but also of strict time trials between Romagna, Tuscany and Marche, until the finish, scheduled for 18:30, in Rimini. Hosted in the charming rooms of the Grand Hotel Rimini, the participants will experience the grandeur of the twentieth century and participate in the official evening in honor of Tazio Nuvolari.

The next morning, Sunday 17, the crews will take the way back to Mantua, but first they will face the latest chrono challenges, perhaps the most decisive to determine the winner: from Rimini to Cesena up to Meldola. The last steps in Ferrara at Circuito del Castello will precede those in the land of Mantua: Borgofranco and Ostiglia and then the arrival, after 1050 kilometers, with the greeting of the public in Piazza Sordello.

Terms of enrollment
The entry requests, only on www.gpnuvolari.it website, will remain open until July 31. Gran Premio Nuvolari only accepts cars manufactured from 1919 to 1972 equipped with FIVA passport, or fiche FIA Heritage, ASI or approval, or fiche ACI Sport / CSAI, or Brand Registry membership.

Our future was written in the past
