The 2024 edition promises to be full of new features and increasingly engaging. The 300 crews from the five  continents, on board their vintage jewels, will travel the renewed 1,100 km route crossing the picturesque streets of Lake Garda, Veneto and Trentino, while enjoying the usual beauties of Lombardy, Emilia Romagna, Marche and Tuscany.

As per a consolidated thirty-year tradition, the “number 1” will be symbolically reserved for the greatest driver of  all time, the legendary Tazio Nuvolari. A group of modern GTs will follow the caravan, and, in the queue, the 300  historic cars will follow, representing all continents and 35 car manufacturers - from the Italian Alfa Romeo, Maserati, Lancia, Ferrari and Fiat, to the English Jaguar, Aston Martin, Bentley and Triumph, to the German  Mercedes, BMW and Porsche, up to the French pursangs designed by Ettore Bugatti. This year, 85 pre-war cars (manufactured from 1923 to 1946) will take part in the event.

The presence of numerous cars from the 1950s is also significant; there will be more than 100 participants who will  compete in the Gran Premio with cars from the brands: Ferrari, Jaguar and Porsche.

It will also be an opportunity to meet the best top drivers in the category, from Andrea Vesco, winner of the last  edition, to Turelli, Passanante, Fontanella, Di Pietra, Patron, Gamberini, up to the top Argentine drivers including  Tonconogy and Erejomovich, just to name a few. It will be a hard-fought competition, from the first to the last of the  110 timed trials.

The partners Red Bull, Finservice Group, Locman, Penske Cars and Wannenes, together with the new entry Closebax SD Shampoo, will allow the Gran Premio Nuvolari to offer competitors a unique experience, with the aim of  combining the pleasure of driving between unique places to the adrenaline of top-level sporting competition.

The event, conceived and organized since 1991 by Mantova Corse, will take place in compliance with F.I.A, F.I.V.A.  and A.C.I. Sport regulations, with particular attention to the safety protocols of the National Sports Federation.

The “Spirit of F.I.V.A., World Motoring Heritage” award, awarded by F.I.V.A. (Federation Internationale Vehicules  Anciens) to the ten best historic motoring events in the world was recently delivered to the organizers of the Gran  Premio Nuvolari. This prestigious recognition has led the organizers to organize an even more important 2024  edition, aimed at maximum participant satisfaction.

Gran Premio Nuvolari Green

The organization of the Gran Premio Nuvolari has always shown itself to be sensitive to environmental sustainability,  undertaking for years a path aimed at safeguarding people and the territory. The first “Gran Premio Nuvolari Green”  initiative was developed in 2020 and involved the planting of trees in selected areas of the city to offset the amount  of carbon dioxide emitted by the circulation of historic cars. From this year, a further activity is planned to limit the  use of plastic bottles during the event: ecological tritan bottles will be distributed to each crew, all the organizational  staff and the media, and they can be filled with water during the stage departures in Mantua, Modena and Rimini  via the dispensers made specifically available.
