100th Targa Florio - 1st Class: G. Moceri - D. Bonetti onFiat 508 C from1939

The 100th Targa Florio has concluded, a set of four events to celebrate the 100th edition: Rally, Historic Rally, Classic and Historic Spees. For four days, 450 cars have focused the attention of thousands of spectators acettered along the route, including the streets of Sicily. A celebration that people won’t easily forget.

The Classic: 815 km in three stages, 64 time trials, 3 average trials, 69 competing crews.

Giovanni Moceri and Daniele Bonetti on the Fiat 508 C 1939 win the prestigious 100th Targa, duplicating the success they got last year. In second place there are Andrea Vesco and Andrea Guerini on a Fiat 508 S Balilla Coppa D’Oro 1934. A good third place, Mario Passanante and Anna Maria Pisciotta with a Fiat 1100 from 1955. Fourth, Francesco and Giuseppe Di Pietra, fifth, Alessandro Gamberini and Luca Bergamaschi, both crews on Fiat 508 C.

After the 6th championship test, the top of the ranking does not change: Daniel Erejomovich first, followed by Gianmaria Aghem and Nino Margiotta.
