The International Championship Grand'eventi 2014's Award Ceremony

Mantova, 15th November 2014 - The GRAND'EVENTI 2014's award ceremony took place today at the Tazio Nuvolari Museum of Mantova. Grand'Eventi is the international championship dedicated to the participants of the classic regularity races for historic cars belonging to the A.C.I./C.S.A.I. calendar and named Grande Evento.
 
The aim of the championship, organized by Mantova Corse with Automobile Club Mantova and Tazio Nuvolari Museum, is identifying and rewarding the best crew, italian or foreign, among all the participants to the Grandi Eventi, the most important composing the 2014 season calendar.  
 
According to the purposes of the ranking, for the assignment of the final score, each of the eight Grandi Eventi was characterized by an "event coefficient", expression of three parameters: the track length, the number of the tests and the number of participants.
 
Alessandro Gamberini and Mirco Magni are the winners of the Grandi Eventi 2014. They've been awarded with the traditional Tartaruga d'Oro (Golden Turtle), symbol of the Grande Nivola. The team is author of a great season, marked by significant results. The couple Giordano Mozzi and Stefania Biacca obtained the second place of the competition, receiving the Tartaruga d'Argento. The evergreen Giuliano Canè and Lucia Galliani consolidate their position winning the Tartaruga di Bronzo, getting the third place. In addition to the three finalists, also the first women's team with Himara Bottini and Francesca Azzali received a prize.
 
The 2015 Grand'Eventi's edition has been revealed. Maintaining the same formula, it will award the best crew among all the participants to the most beautiful Italian classic car races. The organizers of the eight Grandi Eventi presented in advance their events, highlighting the strengths and the peculiarities of the new edition. 
 
The appointment is at each one of the eight racetracks and, finally, to the award ceremony, on the 16th November 2015, the birth anniversary of the great Tazio Nuvolari.
