C.S. 5 - One month until the registration deadline for the event. International regularity event in honor of the great Tazio Nuvolari

07/01/2025

Mantova, July 1st 2025 – Only 30 days left until the registration deadline for the Gran Premio Nuvolari, the international regularity event for historic cars, scheduled from September 18 to 21. For 35 years, it has celebrated the legend of the great driver from Mantua, who made history in the world of motorsport.

The anticipation is building for one of the most iconic events of the year, now unmissable for vintage car enthusiasts and fans of historic motorsport. Passionate participants are counting down the days to experience a unique adventure in the spirit of the legendary Tazio Nuvolari. Between 250 and 300 international teams will be ready to kick off four days of historical celebration, sporting challenge, and refined tourism—hallmarks that have always been at the heart of this event.

This 35th edition brings numerous new features: a revamped route will allow participants to enjoy some of the most captivating landscapes of Lombardy, Emilia-Romagna, Tuscany, Marche, Umbria, and the Republic of San Marino. The three days of competition will mark the various phases of the event, covering a total route of 1,075 kilometers.

During the Gran Premio Nuvolari, the magnificent historic cars—icons of 20th-century industrial culture—will pay tribute to the “Flying Mantuan,” showcasing some of the most famous masterpieces of global automotive engineering. The event offers an extraordinary experience aimed at promoting a new concept of lifestyle tourism, closely connected to the world of motors and collecting, combining healthy sporting competition with the pleasure of discovering picturesque and unique places.

As tradition dictates, Mantova Corse has selected exclusive hotels and accommodations for each stage to offer the teams the pleasure of experiencing unforgettable days.

1991 marked the centenary of Tazio Nuvolari’s birth and the first reenactment of the Gran Premio Nuvolari; this year, the 35th edition organized by Mantova Corse will bring together teams from all five continents in Mantua, arriving with their vintage treasures and united by a common goal: to celebrate the figure of the greatest driver of all time. The event will be held in compliance with the regulations of the F.I.A., F.I.V.A., and A.C.I. Sport, with particular attention to the safety protocols of the national sports federation.

This year as well, the event is supported by key companies such as Red Bull, Finservice Group, Morbio Costruzioni, Penske Cars, Locman, Zero Time, and MC Stone with its supplement Cognizant. Thanks to them, the Gran Premio Nuvolari will offer competitors a unique experience, aiming to combine the pleasure of driving through unique locations with the adrenaline of top-level sporting competition.

The 2025 Route
On Friday, September 19th, the Gran Premio Nuvolari will start from Piazza Sordello in Mantua and cross the Po Valley, with stamp checks at the Iveco plant in Suzzara, Reggiolo, and Campagnola Emilia. The route will then lead to the Modena Racetrack, followed by the urban circuit of Forlì, and end the day in Cesenatico, where the first evening event will take place at the Grand Hotel da Vinci. Overnight accommodation will be in Rimini.

On Saturday, September 20th, the teams will head from Rimini toward Tuscany, Umbria, and Marche, passing through Siena, the Chianti region, and the Ponte a Buriano. The day will conclude with timed trials in the Republic of San Marino and a return to Rimini, where the Gala Dinner will be held at the iconic Grand Hotel.

On Sunday, September 21th, the final stage will take drivers and co-drivers north: after trials in Meldola and a stop in Faenza, hosted by the Scuderia Racing Bulls, the route will continue to Ferrara, featuring the “Power Stage” broadcast live on TV. The rally will then head back to Mantua, with lunch in San Benedetto Po and the grand finish in Piazza Sordello.

Gran Premio Nuvolari Green
The Gran Premio Nuvolari organization has always shown a strong commitment to environmental sustainability, undertaking for years a path focused on protecting both people and the territory. The first “Gran Premio Nuvolari Green” initiative was launched in 2020, with the planting of trees to offset the CO₂ emissions generated by the circulation of historic cars. Further efforts include reducing the use of plastic bottles: every team, all organizational staff, and media representatives will be provided with eco-friendly Tritan water bottles. During the start stages in Mantua and Rimini, water dispensers will be installed and made available to all participants.
