Press Release 3/2020

MANTOVA, 11th May 2020 – The slowdown imposed by the Covid-19 emergency on the organizational activity of the Scuderia Mantova Corse is ending: the Mantuan offices will re-open on Monday,18th May.

In the meantime, the preparation for the 30th edition of the Gran Premio Nuvolari, scheduled for the third weekend of September 2020, continues in smart working, with particular attention to the Coronavirus emergency and to the guidelines of the Italian Government and of the health authorities in charge.

The Organization works on various measures aimed at ensuring the feasibility of the event in terms of safety and safeguarding of the public health. In addition, it launched an important program to celebrate the milestone of its 30th edition: an important anniversary whose communication will start shortly through an incisive advertisement both offline - on the major national and international sector magazines - and online - on blogs and dedicated portals, and on the brand's digital and social channels.

"We look at the Gran Premio Nuvolari 2020 with the desire to feel again the joy for an event that will be able to involve owners of historic cars and enthusiasts from all over the world, and to contribute to the positive revival of the automotive sector, so tried and tested these days" comment the three members of the Scuderia, Claudio Rossi, Luca Bergamaschi and Marco Marani. "It will be a great opportunity to start again, a further demonstration of how our Country knows how to react and get up again."

Red Bull, the Special Partner of the event, will be present also with the new colors of the F1 AlphaTauri team. Finservice confirms its support as Technical Partner in the cult automotive event of the season.

The GPN Green will also be inaugurated: a new green initiative aimed at balancing the total CO2 emission and the environmental impact caused by the circulation of the historic cars participating in the event through the plantation of tall trees in selected areas of Mantova.

The three day event will be as usual itinerant, divided into three stages that will make the parade of classic cars touch Mantova, Emilia, the Adriatic Riviera, Tuscany, Umbria, Marche, Romagna, to finish again in Mantova - all within a framework of high level hospitality. The birthplace of Tazio Nuvolari will remain involved in the event during all the days of the GP, with collateral happenings and exhibitions.
