Etiqueta Negra Polo & Sportswear at the 25th edition of Techno Classica Essen together with Mantova Corse and Eberhard to present the next edition of Gran Premio Nuvolari

The enrolments are opened for the 27th  edition of GRAN PREMIO NUVOLARI, the international regularity event for old cars on calendar from Friday 20th to Sunday 22nd September 2013, organized by the racing stable “Scuderia Mantova Corse” in synergy with the Tazio Nuvolari Museum and the Automobile Club Mantua.

The GRAN PREMIO NUVOLARI is the most important moment of Tazio Nuvolari celebration, "the greatest driver of the past, the present and the future," as Ferdinand Porsche said.

The successful formula revolves around three main points:

1) THE POSITIVE MYTH: Tazio Nuvolari.

2) THE STRONG INTERNATIONAL CHARACTERIZATION OF THE EVENT.

3) THE TRADITIONALITY OF THE EVENT, CONSIDERED ONE OF THE MOST IMPORTANT BETWEEN AUTOMOTIVE SPORS CALENDAR.

The 27th edition will take place on 19 - 20 - 21 - 22 September 2013, in accordance with the Federation Internationale de l'Automobile (F.I.A.), Federation Intérnationale Vehicules Anciens (F.I.V.A.), Commissione Sportiva Automobilistica Italiana (C.S.A.I.) and Automotoclub Storico Italiano (A.S.I.). It will be organized by the racing stable “Scuderia Mantova Corse” in synergy with the Tazio Nuvolari Museum and the Automobile Club Mantua.

It is possible to register until July 31st 2013, exclusively online on the website www.gpnuvolari.it. Only cars built between 1919 and 1969 will be admitted. All the vehicles must have the F.I.V.A. passport or the fiche F.I.A. Heritage, or the must belong to a Brand Historical Register.

The 2013 Edition will be characterized by the partnership with the brands Audi, Eberhard&Co and Etiqueta Negra, key partners and enthusiast supporters of the Gran Premio Nuvolari, which intended to reaffirm their twenty-year presence at the main celebrative event of the “Grande Nivola”.

Three hundred vintage cars, 600 gentlemen drivers coming from all over the world, will participate to the highlight event of September. The route will be divided into three stages for about 1000 km, winding among the most beautiful streets of the central and northern Italy and crossing the historic centers of some of the most renowned cities such as Mantua, Modena, Imola, Rimini, Pisa, Siena, Arezzo, Bologna and Ferrara.

The organizers gave its best to set up an edition which interprets the three souls of the event, entitled to Tazio Nuvolari: the celebrative, touristic and sportive one.

Friday, fist stage: starting from Piazza Sordello, in the heart of Mantua Reinessance, immediately the remembrance of Te Circuit, occurred after the war and entitled to his sons Giorgio and Alberto Nuvolari. Going on in the Po’ valley, between Suzzara, Correggio and Rubiera, competitors will struggle, first between the treacherous curves of the racetrack of Modena and then in the best celebrated Imola circuit, theatre of epic duels between pilots like Villeneuve and Pironi and victorious rides with Senna, De Angelis, Mansell Patrese, Prost, Alonso, up to 7 wins by Michael Schumacher. Leaving the plain, from the hills of Forlì, joining the Adriatic see, where a convivial evening will take place in the prestigious Hotel mare e Pineta in Milano Marittima, before the end of the stage, at Park Hotel Fellini in Rimini.

Saturday, second stage: between the hills of 4 regions: Romagna, Umbria, Tuscany and Marche. From Rimini to Montefiore Conca, Bocca Trabaria, up to Piazza Grande in Arezzo. Then towards Monte San Savino, to get to Piazza del Campo in Siena. The midday break in the heart of Tuscany and Asciano. And then going to Castiglion Fiorentino, Pieve Santo Stefano, Badia Tedalda, San Leo cliff and the return to Rimini, just in time for the evening in honour of Tazio Nuvolari, in classical rooms of the Grand Hotel. 

Sunday, third stage: leaving Rimini, along the Adriatic see until the check in Piazza del Popolo in Ravenna, then Lugo and then the Imola circuit, to feel again the taste...
Departure from Argenta and arrival in the shadow of the Estense Castle in Ferrara. The Mantuan field greets the competitors in Poggio Rusco, San Giacomo delle Segnate, Bondanello and San Benedetto Po’. At last arriving in Mantua from the bridge of ST. George, with its distinctive skyline of the Gonzaga palace and Piazza Sordello. The farewell lunch at the Palazzo Ducale and the award ceremony in the seventeenth century Bibiena Theatre will close the 27th edition of the Gran Premio Nuvolari.

For three days, 1000 km, 300 participants will explore the most beautiful places in Italy.

The organizers will officially present the Gran Premio Nuvolari 2013 edition, to pilots and followers,  during the Techno Classica Essen, the most important exposition in the world dedicated to historical cars, on calendar from 10th to 14th of April. Mantova Corse will especially set up a stand, in collaboration with ACI Mantova and the Tazio Nuvolari Museum.
