Press release n° 4 - Thirty days left to the closing of registrations

07/05/2021

The thirty-first edition of the Gran Premio Nuvolari will start from Mantua on Friday 17th September 2021, coming back there on Sunday 19th. There are thirty days left to the closing of registrations, and the organizational ferment around the event that will bring the gotha of the international vintage car world to the hometown of the great “Nivola” is growing stronger. The expectation of participants and the public is very high, in the year that marks the long-awaited return to conviviality and sociability, and also an important milestone for Mantova Corse, that in 2021 celebrates 40 years of passionate and tireless activity in the sector.

At the starting point of the highly appreciated historic regularity race this year there will be around 300 cars, selected by a special commission, mostly from abroad, to testify to the consolidated international relevance of the event.

To guarantee prestige and support to the initiative, the famous sponsors: the Austrian Red Bull, world leader in energy drinks, the Franco-Swiss watch house Tag Heuer and the Italian Finservice Group, an important service company in the subsidized finance sector.

«The thirty-first edition of the Gran Premio Nuvolari – the partners Claudio Rossi, Luca Bergamaschi and Marco Marani claim – will be full of news and will not betray that feeling of wonder and deep emotion that our extraordinary Italy reserves every time to the drivers of exceptional jewels on four wheels. In addition to the enthusiastic feedback from competitors and enthusiasts, one thing that makes us particularly proud – the three add – is the relationship of collaboration and trust that has been established within our Staff and with all external administrative organizations (Municipalities, Provinces, etc ..) which, year after year, share our enthusiasm and support us in otherwise very demanding bureaucratic procedures. As a sign of our gratitude to the community and to the territory, Mantova Corse has been involved since last year in an ecological initiative called "GPN Green": with the aim of compensating for the environmental impact caused by the circulation of the historic cars participating in the event, at the end of it tall trees capable of neutralizing CO2 emissions will be planted in selected areas of Mantua”.
